After the disapointing experience in the Serengeti, we were pleasantly surprised to get exactly the opposite experience in the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is a fairly small area in comparison to the Serengeti and has it's own extremely diverse ecosystem. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife in close proximity to the jeeps. Hi! Welcome to our travelblog page. We initally called ourselves "AfricaBound" because we spent a year traveling around Africa from August 2007 to August 2008. At that time, little did we even think that we could go on another extended trip. Somehow through much perseverance and determination we were able to save up for yet another extended trip, this time as sort of a honeymoon.
