Uzgavenas: Lithuanian Spring Festival March 20th 2008 Uzgavenes
Today was a special day in Lithuania. It was the day where ‘Uzgavenes’ is celebrated—the day that we chase away winter and welcome in Spring. Last summer I was playing baseball in Lithuania, coaching in Moscow, hitching through Bavaria, and working construction in the South of France. Who knows what this summer will bring.
