Today we got up rather early, like 5:00 a.m. ... which was a little too early for a holiday. But with the traditional 'must-do' in Luangprabang, we'd really like to experience it: giving sticky rice to monks as merit making. At six-ish we finally started off from the hotel. When we arrived at the side of the road it was still dark. Our group located as the very first group of merit makers that ... read more
