Date: February 4th 2006
Today was race day. Team Discovery (our team) was out for gold and a piece of the pie aka the prize money. All morning the bikes where tweaked and prepped for what would be a monsterous ride. 22km of daunting hills, dirt and competiton oh my! At about 4pm we did a ride down to a place called Busters Sports Centre where as we would start. There where about 50 other riders with 2 races to ta ... read more

2 years of craving and saving. 8 Months of meeting and greeting, from the poor to the rich, nation to nation through the ups and just as much downs this has been an experience I will never forget, most definitely just the beginning....
