Bingo Dingo February 1st 2006 I have now acquired a true traveller's patina of grime and sweat and sand. You'll also be glad to know that my feet, previously covered up every summer by rowing shoes, are now the brownest they have ever been (or it could be the dirt, I suppose).

I have been working non-stop since leaving university and last February I felt I had got to the point where I could buy a house and settle down or I could travel the world and mix-it-up globally...it was a tough decision.
While I have travelled quite a bit with my job and on holiday (Europe and the US), I felt I had never really got out there and seen stuff. Consequently, I am taking a 6-month sabbatical from work, starting in Jan 2006, and will be travelling to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador (and fingers crossed, the Galapagos Islands).... full info
