Yes, we were there (in London) 24th October 2003, when three British Airways Concordes, after 34 years of service ended a chapter in supersonic aviation history. It was quite a historic event when all around London, crowds of enthusiastic on-lookers cheered as the three Concordes, within minutes of each other, flew over London before making their final touchdown shortly after 4pm at Heathrow ai ... read more
