Wedding Henna

The day before the wedding, all the girls get together and get henna-ed. The paste must dry on your hands and the longer it stays undisturbed, the darker it gets. The darker it gets, the more your husband to be (someone told me) or your mother in-law (another account) will love you. The boys in the wedding party had to feed us lunch as our hands were occupied. It was a good deal.
