Due to the winding roads down from the highlands, we had a toast to the wonderful drug dramamine before we left. Took the bus down to Ipoh, then through Lumut, where we hopped on a ferry over to Pulau Pankor, a small island off the west coast of Malaysia. Well our 3 month 10 day Asia trek ended April 29, 2008, a month short because of political issues but otherwise a great experience. We traveled from Singapore up through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and China. Unfortunately we didn't get to go to Nepal because of political tension in Kathmandu. We couldn't go to Tibet because of the riots to free Tibet from China.
