can you see it?? look in the lower left hand corner. the climate changes on a whim, and its a role of the dice when you decide to venture to the top of any of costa ricas volcanoes. we waited for about an hour and did a little "wind" dance...finally the gods responded and lifted the cloud cover for about 3 mintues. snap, snap, snap went the cameras and down the mountain we go...

hola friends and family! i am currently sitting in an internet café in the heart of san Joaquin de flores, heredia, a very tranquil and beautiful provincial town about 15 km outside the nations capital of San Jose.
