17 - 23 January 2008 Luang Prabang is amazing. It really is a tourists heaven, full of Lao culture, yet incredibly Westerner friendly. Having experienced French culture through Julie, I was able to fully appreciate and share her delight at the lingering French influences left over from colonial times.
