Day 267 (19/12/07) One of the main things we wanted to do on the East Coast was make a visit to Australia Zoo, the life's work of Steve Irwin, and today was the day. The zoo is about 70km north of Brisbane and we set off with an almost full Nora as we were joined by Spencer, Kayleigh, Fiona and Steph and would meet Liam and Gary when we arrived as they'd already booked on a tour. We are having the mother of all honeymoons - our dream trip around the world taking in as many countries and experiences as possible. Taking the bold step with a serious career break we have now covered a huge distance seeing some of the world’s treasures and meeting interesting and likeminded people along the way.
