Mate cups for sale

Traditionally associated with the guachos but originally grown by the Jesuits in the area - Yerba Mate is made into a tea in these cups and then drunk through a (usually) silver straw. This is just about the most popular beverage we have seen being consumed in Argentina and Uruguay - a lot of people wander around town carrying a thermos of water to top the cup up during the day whilst they're on the go.
