A nursing seal pup and mother

After our work was done for the first day, we took a hike across the sea ice toward the granite cliffs of Granite Harbor. I can now say that I WALKED to the continent of Antarctica! This seal pup was crying a lot until its mother came over and let it nurse. Awe!
