Yesterday began very early for the Jensens! We were up by 4:30 am, and were out the door at 5:40. We picked up a couple ladies from the congregation - Julia and Rachel , and then we headed for Kisongo. George dropped us off at the Staffords, and he headed on to the school, where he had a class to teach, and Lindsey and I caught a ride with Stephanie Stafford and Angie Baker to Monduli. Meet the Jensens - George & Joy, Jacob, Luke, and Lindsey. George and Joy were married in 1985. We have four children: Julia - age 24, Jacob - age 22, Luke - age 21, and Lindsey - age 19.
Our family has participated in numerous mission campaigns over the last ten years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa.
