We visited central Norway for a week this summer. The plan was to drive up through Finland and down the coast of Norway. However, car problems forced a change in plans so the long drive will have to wait. Our trip took us from Oslo to Andelsnes by train, then to Geiranger by bus, to Alesund by boat, to Bergen by plane, and through Flam on the way back to Oslo.
