Got here October 6. Yes, it was sad leaving Pisco, even though the living conditions were kind of a grind. I figured out the bus plan at more or less the last minute (it doesn't leave from Pisco even though there's a station there...ended up taking a cab to the little crossroads town with the depot ($3) and liked the driver who was very nice to me.
