A large deserted decrepit old castle sits atop a hill that overlooks Matlock. We decided to drive up and take a closer look. Apparently a few years ago it used to be an animal park. Nowadays there are only wild rabbits, and Mum and dad were lucky enough to see a fox hunting one of them down. I was to busy looking through all the ruins, it was quite eerie and parts of it reminded me off the castle ... read more
