First, I'd like to share with you some wonderful news! The lady with whom I've been studying with since June made the decision to be buried in baptism, and become a member of the New Testament church. I'll back up a little, and recount some recent events leading up to that day. As I wrote in a previous blog, bibi (grandmother) Joyce had been ill with malaria. Meet the Jensens - George & Joy, Jacob, Luke, and Lindsey. George and Joy were married in 1985. We have four children: Julia - age 24, Jacob - age 22, Luke - age 21, and Lindsey - age 19.
Our family has participated in numerous mission campaigns over the last ten years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa.
