Keep off the grass!

This is our Rasta Garderner at St. Pius. Meg got him to take off his hat and display his locks for the picture. There are signs up at Pius saying Keep off the grass...perhaps put there by the gardner. I will be tutoring 6th grade boys and the next thing i know the "sweet" smell of ganja floats through the air into my "classsroom" of the gazebo. Quite humorous. I smell and see ganja reguarly but i don't think it's well upon by most jamaicans.

It’s been a good couple of weeks. I visited Hellshire(pronounced Helsure) Beach for the first time. Hellshire is the public beach in Kingston and was quite nice by my Kansas standards. Jamaicans consider it to be not very nice. I, however, was pleased to be at a beach where there were only Jamaicans and no one that just stepped off of a cruise ship. The beach was Caribbean heaven.
