I have spent the past two weeks traveling in a state to north known as Bahia. This is one of the most famous states in Brazil and hosts some amazing beaches and a distinctive afro-culture. Awhile back I decided to tempt my fate and head to South America for a year. After quitting my job I jumped on a plane and found myself in an unfamiliar land with an unfamiliar language. Here are a few of my experiences from the beaches of Brazil to the mountains of Argentina to the grassy plains of Paraguay.
