Thursday, May 31st, was the worst culture shock I have ever experienced in my entire life. We got to Z and pulled up to the Community Foundation, which has become our home base. There, we met our host families, met a ton of people that we of course didn’t remember five minutes after meeting, talked to the people in charge of us and then left with our host families. My name is Jamie, I'm a native of Kansas, USA. I currently live in Santiago, Chile where I am studying agricultural economics as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
