Treeing the food

Alain was quite rightly very proud of this "treeing". We try and put our food and other smelly stuff, toothpaste etc in a tree high up and far away from our tents. This involves standing around late at night trying to throw ropes around branches whilst the mosquitos help themselves. Very few campsites have metal food caches. Everyone else is in big metal RV vans has smelly BBQs and then just go inside for the evening. Not us though. Unfortunately nothing is completely animal proof. The next night squirrels gnawed through Tom's bag and ate his bread.
