The pagoda was newer finalised, but should have reached 150 m if completed. It is also sometimes denoted the world's largest brick pile and would probably have collapsed if finalised due to structural problems

There are several locations of interest around Mandalay which can easily be reached in a one-day trip and we of course wanted to see as many of them as possible.
