In winter the argentina chile andes pass of los libertores (i think??) is notoriously difficult to cross due to bad weather. thousands of trucks were stranded a week ago due to crippling snows etc. what a time to cross!!! We ended up spending a whole day on one bus waiting in a place called uspallata and then returned to mendoza. the next day the clouds had cleared and we went for it and made it ... read more
