we arrived in bangkok on the overnight bus from chiang mai at around 4.30 am. we headed up koa san road in search of a guesthouse and what we found was a bloody mess. this was the bangkok that everyone talks about that we had missed on our first visit due to having stayed on the non-tourist side of town. neon lights. my god! every single major food chain, innumerable pubs, bars, seedy clubs. tour ... read more
