Arrived safely in Madrid with a cool change in weather from France.. It was much nicer than having to walk in hot weather although the scattered showers was a touch annoying. We walked the Parque el Retiro - a huge park area, with monument of Alfonso XII and a lake. Being a Sunday, there were lotsa people hanging out in the park, and also a couple of bongo drum players trying to outdo themselv ... read more
