After a mammoth journey from Colonia Pellegrini involving the return 3hr minibus ride and a further 7 1/2hr bus ride, we arrived in the town of Colon. This had been recommended by a German lady now living in Argentina. It was a good choice, especially considering the Hostel we found.. After years of commuting by rail and road, we both decided enough was enough and to take the plunge and plan a Round the World trip. Six months was the limit we set, but who knows if we'll stick to it??
This trip has been in the pipeline for at least 18 months, and once the money was saved, the jabs done (ouch!), it was all systems go. As of 18th Sep 05, Lin and Jeremy have left the country!!... full info
