Yes, we are back in Basel, Evi's home town. She was actually born in Zürich, but considers Basel her home since she was a young girl. Anyway, after two simple flights from SFO to Newark to Zürich, we arrived in good shape. We celebrated Yom Kippur with Evi's cousins and brother there, then after releasing all our sins for the previous year, the next morning we took the one-hour train to Basel ... read more
