And they´re off!!
The start to our trip didn´t go quite as planned, but turned out really well for us. We turned up at Heathrow with all our bags ready to check in and were offered 405 pounds each to take the next days flight. After years of commuting by rail and road, we both decided enough was enough and to take the plunge and plan a Round the World trip. Six months was the limit we set, but who knows if we'll stick to it??
This trip has been in the pipeline for at least 18 months, and once the money was saved, the jabs done (ouch!), it was all systems go. As of 18th Sep 05, Lin and Jeremy have left the country!!... full info
