We departed Udaipur and after a relatively painless daytime bus trip south, we were soon struggling through the hot and dusty streets of Ahmedabad, trying to find some habitable accommodation. This was our penultimate stop before getting to Mumbai and for Thailand in a few days time. We hope you enjoy reading about our exploits whilst we're on our 16 month BIG TRIP. Many people have asked why we are going and in an attempt to explain here is a quote from the famous British explorer Eric Shipton.
