This is the sand dunes of Erg Chebi. A popular place with tourists who want to see the Sahara. This dune is about 210 meters high.

We arrived in Marrakech on our delayed plane at 1am. No accomodation organised but got a taxi into the main square. The taxi driver dropped us off near a hotel in a high walled street, typical of Moroccan Medinas, no hostels were open and most were booked out because it was Easter weekend - a busy time here with European tourists.
