we arrived in chengdu after a long trainride from guilin (did i mention that it takes 25 hours?). and we penny-pinchers chose not to take a sleeper bed, but to endure the hard seat. well china trains deserve some comments about their punctuality and comfort. seats were not like the ones you find in thailand's train - cold hard and wooden. the chinese ones have some kind of cloth over the seats.. ... read more
