We have just survived throwing ourselves out of a plane from 15,000 feet over Lake Taupo (which is also an active volcano, as if skydiving wasn't dangerous enough anyway!) on New Zealand's North Island. For those of you that don't know, a skydive from 15,000 ft is the highest you can do and involves oxygen, a freefall of over a minute (10,000 ft) at 200km/hour which distorts your face in a variou ... read more
