Nach 13 Tagen Mexico und schon soviel Gesehenem ging es weiter ueber die gruene Grenze nach Guatemala, dem wesensentlich aermeren aber umso urspruenglicherem suedlichen Nachbarn. Mehr als 60% der Bevoelkerung zaehlt man hier zu den Ureinwohnern, hauptsaechlich Nachkommen der Maya.
