Sister Isela

I sat next to Sister Isela on my trip the Copper Canyon railway. She works as a teacher in one of the rural areas and her weekly commute involves taking the train from Chihuahua. I was most impressed by the way Sister Isela's habit and bag were perfectly coordinated with the interior of the train. Due to her position as a teacher Sister Isela gets to travel first class for free. Not a bad perk. A cunning plan hatched in my head. What if we were to switch clothes? Would I be able to travel for free too? When I broached the subject Sister Isela laughed and thought that this might work. Unfortunately I had to return to Creel and Sister Isela had to carry on so we never go the chance to see. Still nice idea.
