One of the Ni-Van crew aboard the boat caught this for one of the guys on the tour. As you can see, they did let it go after admiring it for a while :)

The boat remained moored off shore the entire day whilst we snorkelled and explored the cave and turtle sanctuary on Moso and Tranquility Islands.

This place would definitely be the place to go to get away from civilisation for a while (aside from us tour boat people :P). Water had to be pumped daily to supply the "resort" and I'm not sure if they had electricity or not.

We did the Coongoola cruise last week...
... and thoroughly enjoyed it! We didn't have anyone ignorant enough to stand on the coral, but a good mix of people and a great day was had by all. We were accomppanied by dolphins most of the way back to the buses! Amazing!! I love your photos!
