I have begun today to about 10, and headed north along the coast road. Soon I got some more rain showers. When it has loosened a bit I continued, and in here there is a lot of traffic on Highway 1, which runs north. So, I'll cross the peninsula to the other side on a few rural roads. Quite rural roads, after a while the asphalt is over and has been all dirt and gravel, as in the old days in the Carretera Austral, so to the pass near Moir Hill, 350m high, and here I got intense rainfall, all muddy and burning brakes. When I reached down has stopped raining and has the sky has opened again, I've joined with Highway 16, the west coast road. Here there was much less traffic than the other side. So a little better. Anyway, a lot of hills, not flat sections at all. I have finally come to Parakai almost at 6 in the evening. I've gotten into the camping close to the municipal pools, and yet I could pitch the tent in daylight . At dinner time I have met, of course, with two groups of Germans, some younsteers who do the Work & Travel and a couple travelling the world.
