This morning I left the hostel at 10 , I've been leisurely having breakfast and reorganizing maps. After a quarter hour on the road I 've realized that I had left a water bottle in the hostel and I had to return. In some of these turns I've done my km20000 in Paraparaumu. After that all highway, with little rain at times, so all the time put on and remove layers of waterproof. In Otaki I stopped for lunch eating, I got new flip-flops in the Chinese market for 6NZD and I have gotten some information on accommodation for today. The thing looks dodgy, lots small town en route, but no one knows if there hotels that allow camping or camping, or some cheap alternative. In Foxton I stopped again at the Dutch Mill to ask again. They have suggested a couple of places where there is some accomodation and they told me that there is a large village 35km ahead, Bulls, but is no sure that I can find something there. I eventually opted to play it safe today, 10 km north of Foxton and then 8 west, is the beach camping of Himatangi . The beach is amazing like the French Landes. The campsite makes me a small discount because being cyclist and gives me 50Mbytes Internet for free (at the end I pay only 15NZD), facilities are also not bad. And besides, it seems that this area is very dry and almost never rains, today was the first day it has rained a bit since 2 months, and it seems that tomorrow at least in this area it will be a nice day.
