New Zealand

is this how you imagine New Zealand?
You will not believe when looking at the photos but 80% of time i've spent in New Zealand: the weather has been rubbish. What this means for a traveller like me: due to the pouring rain, hail, snowfall, strong wind, rough sea/lake, thick mist, avalanche, earthquake, etc, i have not been able to do many activities that i was hoping to do!!!! (apparently this year's spring is more wintry than normally, 4 seasons in one day - those from England will know what i'm taking about)
well, next time i will know not to come to New Zealand in spring, autumn or winter. My advice: go there in full summer! (unless you want to ski)

On the other hand, my socialising here has been very successful (there has to be a balance). i've met some great people that have made my trip a truly enjoyable and brilliant experience.

NZ is abundantly green, i haven't seen that much greenery and lushness (and so many sheep) in my life before. it does look beautiful.

Enjoy the pics, the first 9 photos are from the north island and the rest from the south.
There will be more....

Then a weekend in Holland with my friends, followed by 3 weeks in Poland to recharge my batteries and I'm off. On 13th June 2007 my adventure will begin...... “Only he that has traveled the road knows where the holes are deep” ... full info
