Well what a day, some clouds in the sky with the promise of sunny day ahead. Forgot the insect repellant so I was expecting to get eaten alive by midges....only a couple of bites whenwe reached the sound, so not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

The road to Milford was great to drive and the scenery was spectacular. Many photo ops along the way. We left ourselves 4 hours to get there because I knew we were going to take in the sights, it can be done in 2, but I would suggest seeing it allow the way there so then you can head straight back once the cruise is over.

Coban was impressed with the size of it, at first he didn't see it because we were eating downstairs, but once we were up the top he was amazed. The wind wascoming straight oAntarctian and was bloody cold, but we saw dolphins, seals, the entry from the ocean into Milford, waterfalls etc....so awesome

So we are all booked and ready to hea... full info
