Hello,

First of all Happy Birthday to Liz !!

Ok so we're all ok and in one piece.

The flight was pretty epic - my god were we tired. first 13 hours to hong kong on a night flight so they gave us breakfast then sent us the wait in the airport for an hour and a half, only to bring us back onto the plane and give us dinner and turn the lights off for another night flight. Need less to say were were both pretty exhausted when we got to Christchurch.

The level of damage there varies considerably. Some building have just lost a chimney pot etc but some of them have gone through the roof or the garage. But some buildings are just falling down!!
We were woken int he night by a small aftershock, but got to enjoy a 5.1 while eating our breakfast in the cafe across the road. Afterwards we discovered it was the electricity company building so it extrememly earthquake proof but it was still quite a shake and it split my cup of tea!!!

So then we though we'd do a bit more travelling and we've ended up here in queenstown.

We've eaten some timtams liz which yes are lovely. We've been up snowboarding and we're just about getting over the jet lag but it's still creeping up on us every now and then.
We've had a Hells pizza Ross and it was lovely!!
