Day #3:Sunset by Gondola
So after my busy day yesterday I decided to chill out a little while waiting for Jen and Shelly to meet up with us in Queenstown. Lauren and I spent the morning chatting about our plans for the rest of the week and couldn’t wait for the other two to get here.
Shelly was the first to arrive and we met up with her outside our hostel…it was hugs all around since we hadn’t seen her for a week cause she was having her own adventures a little north of us with her bf. The three of us walked around the lakefront and ate at a café along the water…and we probably sat for almost two hours just taking in the scenery and catching up…it is so relaxing here!
Jen was the next the show up and we got to hear all about her surfing adventures up in Auckland. We finally all got to talk about our plans and sketch out a loose itinerary for the week.
After booking a few activities for the rest of our Q-town stay Shelly and I decided to take the famous Gondola up to the highest point of

the city and watch the sun set from the best vantage point possible. We rode up and finally got to see the landscape that surrounded us…I’m not kidding when I say it really is so amazingly gorgeous down here!!
After the sun set we sat along the floor to ceiling windows that look over the town and had coffee and tea and chatted about our past weeks activities…and all the fun we are gonna have the next two!!
Well I can’t wait for the crazy times us girls are going to have together so keep checking and I hope this is interesting and fun for everyone to read about…cause clearly I’m having a wonderful time!!
