We headed out on a wee drive to find were they filmed Rohan and Edoras from lord of the rings and we saw some penguins too.

all the county side looked like it was in the film!
I think this bit was.
Edoras
this was definitely in the film.
it was rather remote.
we had to drive over some rather muddy roads to get here and they hadn't even left the film set to look at!
a penguin
this was a yellow eyed penguin. the rarest type in the world. you couldn't go down to the beach in case you scared them away from their nesting sites.
