Opouštíme největrnější místo Nového Zélandu, Wellington. Vítr jsme pocítili včera i dnes. Čeká nás 3,5hodinová plavba trajektem na jižní ostrov. Naloďujeme se i s autem, jelikož to trajekt Interislander, který má 10 poschodí, umožňuje. Z nejvyšší paluby je rozhodně nejhezčí výhled, jinak loď poskytuje veškeré služby včetně wi-fi připojení nebo blicí pytlíky zdarma :-). V průběhu plavby přichází hlášení, že na levoboku lze spatřit velryby, bohužel jsem neměla to štěstí, abych je alespoň letmo zahlédla. Snad někdy příště. Když jsme se blížili do přístavu Picton, otevřelo se před námi členité pobřeží. Všechny loďky okolo vypadaly jako hračky na pískovišti. Vše bylo jako malované. Dorazili jsme na úplně odlišnou část Zélandu, kde jediné, co prozatím zůstalo stejné, je počasí, opravdu velmi horké počasí. This morning we set out with Robin and Sandra to take Nelson on his walk. We headed across the road and into Dellside Reserve which can be traversed via a number of tracks. We started out on the Jimmy Lee Creek Track along which we encountered a bird hide that has been set up for keen twitchers. We didn’t even have to take shelter in the bird hide to see a Tui. He was quite happily sitting on a tree adjacent to the bird hide singing for all the walkers who were out this morning. Before long we had some of the inquisitive fantails flitting around in the bush beside us. Day 14 Wellington to Nelson, 3.5 hrs. on the ferry and 110km on Spot. Showpony makes a comeback of sorts The Donkey got dropped off at the ferry terminal by Butterfly and the busy little hen early the next morning. The weather had finally turned and was beautiful. The crossing was smooth which was good as donkeys do not have sea-legs. The highlight of the trip was a huge school of dolphins accompanying the boat in the middle of Cook Strait. All the passengers were oohing and aahing. Everybody loves dolphins, the Donkey thought. Surely it does not happen often that a donkey with a bike called Spot traveled on a ferry but nobody took any notice of the Donkey. Dernière semaine à Nelson, et cette fois pas de retour possible. Je devrais décoller de Nelson samedi pour Wellington. De là je verrai ce que je fais, je dois aller chercher le dernier trésor à Napier de Julien, puis rallier Auckland pour un wwoofing intéressant avec un artiste, mais aussi grimper avec Dan ! Il a un projet multi pitch dans les Coromandels. La Grimpe me manque tellement... déjà deux mois que je ne peux plus y aller faute de partenaire... vivement la maison ! Ma voiture est vendue à Maria mon ex proprio, je suis de nouveau un bakcpacker à pieds. Le boulot est fini !! Yeaaahhhaaa, de nouveau en vacances !!! Dernière semaine tranquillou à Nelson, j'ai eu le droit à une attaque aux oeufs pourris samedi soir en rentrant en longboard, content :( Heureusement que je ne vivais plus dans ma voiture, j'ai pu rentrer et me changer direct. Mais étonnamment je ne me suis pas énervé, je m'en suis même foutu :) Une grande déception quant au fait que j'ai perdu le mug de Nico... incompréhensible ! J'ai retrouvé Junior au détour d'une rue, content de revoir le copain. Dernières méditations avec Kahu, il sera définitivement une des belles rencontres de mon voyage !
