Well after a few days in queenstown, 4 I believe we couldn't wait to get out of there and start doing a track, and we booked the routeburn, which is a "Great walk" that is one of newzealand's most known and busiest walks, that you got to order in advance. The routeburn track starts near queenstown and ends 3 hours by car from it, in the fiordlands, so we had to combine it with another track called the greenstone and that gets us back very close to where we started the track from. So the track was in total 4 days, I had an amazing day on the 1st day in the routeburn, very good weather and amazing views, I will post the pictures very soon, I also met zvika a guy I travelled with in the north a bit at the hut, and a few other people, it was very nice.
Then for the next 3 days we had non stop rain, we walked the end of the routeburn in rain, and the entire greenstone in rain.
And ofcourse when it rains, the track "roads" become all muddy, so you walk in a lot of mud. It was a nice
experience, but not one I want to repeat that often;). The good thing was that the huts on the greenstone track are very nice and we lit a fire in the huts and all set around it and put our clothes and shoes near it to dry, a very bonding expierence.
Lakes alsoThis is not bad at all, not a great walk for nothing.
MeeeeI have to add myself just everywhere!!!
Starting the greenstoneAfter the routeburn to return back to where we started we did this track, and had rain all the time, non stop, this here is when the rain was still not that bad
Uniting in the HutEating, cooking, talking, or just getting bored, everyone enjoy a night at the hut, with the fire keeping us warm, and notice the cloths hanged up, this is a motive you will see later on.
Some viewsEven with the rain, new zealand is beautifull everywhere.
Me and DanielThe end of the greenstone, waiting for the bus, all wet.
Some sheepsOn the way back we got a welcome committee, a few hundred sheeps, blocking the road,
