Sunday morning our journey today took us on a 3 ½ hour drive from Queenstown to Dunedin on the south east coast. Also a very nice drive with more scenery, a couple of lower mountain passes and traveling through some beautiful fruit and wine producing areas.

We spent the afternoon roaming around Dunedin and some relaxing at our hotel. There are a couple of ½ day train trips from here but we felt it would be more of the same for us scenery wise. They say that the train station here has more pictures taken of it than any other building in the southern hemisphere. It’s a beautiful building but who dreams up these stats ??? ( and who is counting here and in all the other countries in the Southern Hemisphere )

Lots of local history here, a big Cadbury Chocolate factory and lots of shopping.
