Teapots...

Had a bit of a crazy night last night....

Started out at about 8:30pm down in the Altitude bar which is attached to the hostel that we were staying in... Had a glass of wine there with Mel and Jess and then bumped into Andrew, Elizabeth, Fia, Fia's boyfriend and Paul. Jess and I headed out to 'The World Bar' with everyone when Mel went to bed as she was tired.

When we got to the World Bar, it was half price on 'teapots'. Basically a teapot is what it says on the tin. It is a normal teapot filled with different cocktails. I shared an 'Illusion teapot' with Jess to start with, it was really nice. It was bacardi and vodka and pineapple juice and tasted really good.

After the teapot we headed down the road to an Irish Pub and had a couple of pints of Guiness. We got bored of that pub, so at around 1:00am we went back to the World Bar as it was starting to get a bit busier. I had another illusion teapot, and the guys had some more pints. Then at about 2:00am we got bored of the World Bar and decided to head down to the lake.

It was pitch black, but the city looked amazing from the side of the lake, and the sound of the water was really cool. We sat there chatting until around 4am, when we headed to a place called 'Fergburger' and got burgers! It was a good night, and when I finally got to bed at around 4:30am, I decided that it was okay to sleep in jeans and a hoodie, so I did!

This morning I woke up at around 6:45am, had a shower and we caught the bus at 8:30am. We were reunited with our old driver Steve, which was nice, and we will be with him until Kaikoura tomorrow. During most of the eight hour journey, I slept and we watched a couple of movies and things....

Tonight we are going to have soup for dinner as we cannot be bothered to go out and get food... Mel says she is going to have an orange...

Anyway, we are swimming with dolphins on Sunday, so that should be really good, and we might go whale watching on Saturday depending on availability.
