We arrived in Queenstown and had a kiwi experience group photo besides the lake with snow capped mountains in the background.

Once we were checked in we went to get a Fergburger, which is a legend throughout New Zealand. I had the most basic burger with brie and it was the size of my head! It tasted great and definately lived up to the stories we heard.

We hit the nightlife that evening and Danny won a skydive by doing karoke, we even had a group karoke where all 50 of us from the bus got up and sang.

I got up the next day and had a look around the town which is very quaint with lots of little shops and cafe's, including a fudge shop which did 30 different flavours of fudge.

In the afternoon I checked into the station which is the departure point for the nevis bungy jump. We were weighed, twice and then driven to the bungy site which is 40 mins from Queenstown. On arrival we were harnessed up and re-weighed. We were then taken in a cable car across to the nevis jump site which is suspended in a valley. I was 2nd last to jump as you jump from heaviest to lightest, watching everyone else go before me was really nerve wracking as I wanted to get it done before I wimped out. When it was my turn I sat in a chair and they attached the bungy to my feet. I was walked to the edge of the platform which is the scariest part of the whole experience. The platform is over 150m to the valley floor and it definately looks that high. The man counted me down from 3 and on 1 I swan dived off the edge. The first few seconds are terrifying as you realise you have just jumped off with an elastic band attached to your shins but then you just accept it and the 134m fall down is sensational. On the second bounce back up you have to pull a cord that realeases your legs so that when you are winched back up you are facing the right way. Luckily i managed to pull the cord but a few people didn't and had to travel back upside down. It was amazing and something I would definately do again. To celebrate surviving we went

for fish and chips which were delicious!

We took a day trip to Milford Sound the next day which was a little less adrenaline fueled. We cruised through the sound and saw some seals and beautiful natural sites such as waterfalls and mountains. We visited an underwater observatory and a thresher shark swam by which was really cool. We also saw black coral which is really rare and lots of fish. We went out for a Fergburger again that eveing and then out to the bars to enjoy our last night together as a group. We got back at 2.30am and then just as we were getting to sleep the fire alarm went off at 3.30am, which was really annoying! We went back to bed but had to be up at 6.30am to catch the bus to Christchurch, so we got very little sleep that night.

The bus to Christchurch took all day although we did stop for some photo spots along the way. On arrival in Christchurch we went for a walk around the town and then went out with the Swedes as it was their last night.

We caught the bus in the morning to Kaikoura which is the last stop on our tour before we head back to Auckland. We spent the afternoon on the beach, surrounded by snow capped mountainsand crystla blue sea it's a beautiful place and the pictures really don't do it justice. While we were sat on the beach a N.Z. fur seal came ashore so we went and had our pictures taken with it.

On Saturday we headed back to Wellington via the interislander ferry. On the ferry we travelled through the Marlborough Sounds which was very beautiful and great for pictures. That evening we went to dominoes and got a large pizza for 3 quid which was awesome!

We travelled back to Taupo and spent the afternoon on the lake front. Greg tried to win $10,000 by getting a hole in one on a floating island but unfortunately all of his balls went into the lake. Whilst on the street some christian women came up to us and started preaching. We were with Renalto, who is portugese, so we all pretended to be portugese and spoke to them in Spanish as we didn't actually know any portugese, luckily they didn't pick up on this. But they did have their whole speech printed in 100's of different languages, so we had to pretend to read the portugese translation it was very funny. Especially as Greg walked back to us and wandered why we weren't speaking english!

We then spent our last day on Kiwi Experience heading back to Auckland. We stopped in Rotorua on the way and saw some bubbling mud pools and we stopped for lunch in Hobbiton. I had some great sushi and an afghan cookie which was really delicious. We now have our last night in Auckland before we all fly to different places tommorrow.
