Wellington

Hey all! Down here at the capital of NZ, Wellington. It is a lovely place and the arts festival is fantastic!! This will be a short entry, and I can't up load my photos yet, unfortunately.

Last Fri we drove down to Auckland. NZ roads are CRAZY. We spent the night with some friends of Mom and Brians - Annie is a most _fabulous_ lady!! We had a blast, with a dinenr party and other people, and stayed up WAY too late. She and her partner have the cutest little flat in downtown Auckland, near the waterfront. It is TINY and gorgeous.

Sat mom and I took the train down from Auckland to Wellington - gorgeous, but long - 12 hours!!! Went past "Mount Doom" of Lord of the Rings fame.

Sun mom and I ran around the WHOLE of Wellington downtown, we went to two different performances, and saw tons of art, found the SGI center downtown (and LUSH!, of course), ate yummy food, oh, and also went to the main museum, Tepapa - mazin!

Mon (today) I got up EARLY and went to the Wellington SGI center, chanted with members there from 7-8am, had a liesurely walk back along the waterfront along with all the people hurrying to work and the sun coming up, got breakfast, then back to our hotel to take a nap. I was up late last night and will be up late tonight - we are going to Dragon's Triology - a 5 and a half HOUR play!!! It gets out at 11:30pm.

Tomorrow (Tues) mom and I fly back to Auckland, and hang out til Thursday (my time) when I leave and fly home, arriving 2 hours before I left!! Crazy that international date line action.

Gotta go pack, shower, and get ready for the 5:30-11:15pm play! Miss y'all!!!
