Look at the pictures. Yes, this is me!!!!
I was thinking about this ever since I arrived to New Zealand. It's something I can't really explain. I had a husband that's been doing it as a hobby for the last 2 years and I never even wanted to come and see, not to say jump myself. But here, everybody's doing it, everybody's talking about it, and you start to think it's a normal thing to do - jump from an airplane...

Since I started traveling with Erez we talked about it but we were both unsure. But as we came to Taupo, before planned (we were supposed to be paddling the canow now) it became clear to me that I'm doing it... Even Erez was surprised that I did all the inquiry calls and booked it for us, out of my own free will... and most surprisingly for me, I didn't feel fear. Before we went rafting I couldn't breath, I was in panic. But today - I slept well the night before, I felt great, I was excited but not a bit nervous. I didn't feel I was going to the "unknown" - suddenly all Shai's stories came back and put sense in this.
I thought the panic would come once I was on the plane, I thought it would come once the door opened... but I was just more excited, and then I was sitting there with my legs outside the plane, at 12,000 ft above ground, and my guide pushed, and we were free-falling!!! It was WOW WOW WOW. I totally luck the words to describe it. I wasn't scared, I was overwhelmed with the fantastic feeling and the amazing view. We jumped above the clouds so at first I only saw them but we quickly passed them (they said 200 km/h, so that's quick...) and the beautiful view of lake Taupo and its surroundings lied below me. It just felt so FREE. Those of you who've done it understand me now, and those who didn't probably can't. I can't help you understand, cause I don't myself... so just believe me, it was the BEST THING I EVER DID... best excitement... I can't wipe the smile off my face...
